Keith loved working with Bruiser so much last year in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), that he has returned to star in our next production The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4. Keith will play multiple roles including Adrian's elderly friend Bert, next door neighbour Mr Lucas and school chum Nigel. Ahead of opening night, we take a look back on Keith's previous roles.
Keith began his acting career in his hometown with the Londonderry Musical Society. His roles here included the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance, Fagin in Oliver! and Jimmy Smith in the NODA winning Thoroughly Modern Millie (Best Overall Show).
After playing the title role in the Millennium Forum's Youth Theatre production of Sweeney Todd he moved on to various stage work with Blue Eagle Productions led by Jonathan Burgess. He has starred as Marty in The Music Makers directed Eamon Friel, Dermot in Remembrances tour with The Balor Theatre, Chuck in Teenage Kicks, a musical written by Colin Bateman, and directed by Des Kennedy.
Keith has also starred as the panto baddies Fleshcreep and Abanazar in Jack and the Beanstalk and Aladdin and an Ugly Sister in Cinderella with Millennium Forum Productions. After playing the roles of Bert, Nigel and Mr Lucas in Bruiser's The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, he will be appearing in Hansel and Gretel at The MAC Theatre this Christmas.
