The Threepenny Opera

The Threepenny Opera Production Image.

Bruiser's spectacular Spring 2005 production burst onto the scene, staging one of the greatest theatrical works of the twentieth century. Bertolt Brecht's 'The Threepenny Opera' bristles with universal themes - justice, greed, charity, pretension and misused love.

Bruiser's physical twist on this classic work painted a gritty, sordid and saucy picture of Soho life – a boisterous tale of beggars, thieves and easy virtue, creating a mouth-watering concoction of wickedness!

In a first for Bruiser, the six strong cast were joined on stage by live musicians, incorporating popular music and dance into this cabaret / music hall extravaganza!
