As part of 'Pick 'n' Mix 3', Bruiser presents a sneak preview of its Autumn 2009 production - an inventive and energetic staged reading of 'The Government Inspector' by Nikolai Gogol, adapted by Bill Scott (writer of 'The Case OF The Frightened Lady').

In a small country town, a penniless traveller finds himself mistaken for a top-ranking government official. Spotting an opportunity for raising some cash (not to mention impressing some classy women), he plays along with the confusion, revealing greed and hypocrisy on a scale that even he finds hard to stomach.

Bruiser's version of this famous play is guaranteed to shock, amuse and delight. One of the most famous comedies in world theatre, Gogol's masterpiece has lost none of its bite!

Bruiser's performances will be at 5pm on Friday 19th and 9.15pm on Saturday 20th June.
